Recommendations
Flight
We recommend flying into Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), which is approximately 35–40 minutes from Montage Palmetto Bluff. SAV offers nonstop service from a number of major U.S. cities and is the most convenient airport for guests traveling to the wedding.
Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) is another option and is approximately 35–40 minutes from the resort. HHH offers service through Delta, United, and American Airlines, with connections through several major hubs.
For guests flying into Charleston International Airport (CHS), Montage Palmetto Bluff is approximately 90 minutes away.
Transportation
If you are staying at Montage Palmetto Bluff, you will not need a rental car during your stay. The resort offers complimentary transportation throughout the property, including its house car service, and the property is easily explored by bike, golf cart, and on foot. Airport transportation can also be arranged through the Montage concierge.
For guests staying at Old Bluffton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn, we recommend renting a car. Both hotels are located outside of Palmetto Bluff, and having a car will make it easier to explore the area and travel to and from any activities outside of the wedding. Rental cars are available at both Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) and Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH).
Please note that rideshare service in the Bluffton and Palmetto Bluff area can be inconsistent, so we do not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft as your primary means of transportation.

Montage Palmetto Bluff
Our wedding will take place at Palmetto Bluff, a beautiful Lowcountry property featuring a charming collection of guest rooms, suites, cottages, and homes. For those who wish to take advantage of all the property has to offer throughout the wedding weekend, we encourage you to stay with us on property. A selection of accommodations at Palmetto Bluff has been reserved for our wedding guests at special group rates. Please use the link below to access our room block, or contact the hotel directly and reference the Sorg-Harris Wedding when booking. Reservations within our room block must be made by Wednesday, June 2, 2027. To book by phone, you may contact the room coordinator directly at 877-289-1136.
If you are interested in renting a golf cart during your stay, we recommend reserving one at the time you book your accommodations. Bicycles are complimentary for resort guests and do not need to be reserved in advance.
For guests who prefer to stay off property, we have also reserved room blocks at select hotels in Bluffton, a charming Lowcountry town located nearby.
Old Bluffton Inn
A special group rate is available for our wedding guests for stays between July 14–20, 2027. Please use the booking link and enter code SORGHARRIS2027 to access this rate. Rooms are subject to availability, so we encourage you to book early. The group rate applies only to reservations made using the code.
Hilton Garden Inn
A selection of guest rooms has been reserved for our wedding guests at special group rates. WILL THE CEREMONY BE OUTSIDE?
No, the ceremony and reception will be inside! However, cocktail hour will be hosted outside.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
We love and adore your kids but, we politely request that you leave your littles at home for our wedding! Thank you for your understanding. Take the night off and get ready for the best adults-only wedding!
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
Please refrain from taking photos during our ceremony.
WILL THERE BE PARKING?
Transportation will be provided to and from the venue. For those driving, you may valet at the Main Inn.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?
The dress code is Black Tie. Tuxedos and formal gowns are kindly requested.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR THE NIGHT BEFORE?
We invite guests to dress in Coastal Cocktail attire - think elevated resort wear! For women, we recommend flowy dresses, polished separates, or dressy jumpsuits. For men, a lightweight suit or sport coat paired with a dress shirt is appropriate.
